About

Organic gardening is a hobby of Steve and Judy. Steve is particularly fond of grapes - table grapes, jam, juice, and wine. We make all of these from the Organic grapes grown in this study. Sharing what we learns is our joy - hence this website.  Judy's joy is cooking - continuously creating new and delicious meals.

The first grapevines were planted about ten years ago. They were awful - quite diseased and the grapes rotted before they were ripe. However, much has been learned since then and now wonderful grapes are obtained Organically with no sprays, and new cultivars are added as the trials proceed.

It is amazing what a little hard work can accomplish. We started in 2009 by cutting down about 100 trees in our backyard and began our garden. It cannot be done all at once, so we added a little to it each year as time would allow. Now we grow organic fruit, berries and veggies. We have 1/4 acre under cultivation.
